Tools for the “GO-GETTER-LIFESTYLE”!

Ever since I started my brand I knew deep down inside that I wanted it to become more than just a brand for coffee lovers. In fact I wanted people to see the Javaboi logo and think “Go-Getter”. I find myself wondering just how I can make my brand become synonymous with attributes that the goal oriented individuals of today have embedded within their lifestyles. Attributes such as ambition, drive, consistency, passion, and discipline. Personally, I am a person who likes to practice what I preach, in addition to leading by example. With that said I will share with you some of the tools that have been a great help to me with regards to Self-Development and motivation.

1 – http://thecompoundeffect.com/ This is an excellent source of inspiration for anyone in my opinion. I would describe The Compound Effect as a personal success-How To Guide. This publication is by Darren Hardy, Founder of Success Magazine and is available in both written and audio format. I listen to the audio and take notes daily.

2 – http://www.success.com/products/764-living-your-best-year-ever-by-darren-hardy The Living Your Best Year Ever publication comes with a personalized journal designed for the user to track his/her progress with regards to following the program day by day. The program also includes 4 instructional audio CD’s and some free online downloads. I highly recommended this for anyone seeking to make dramatic life changes. However, I want to stress that you will need to commit to the program if you plan to make changes in your life. I am currently using both The Compound Effect for discipline, momentum, and consistency. And I am using Living Your Best Year Ever for tracking and measuring purposes.

3 - http://store.richdad.com/Rich-Dad-Poor-Robert-Kiyosaki/dp/1612680003 All though there are so many different books by Author: Robert T. Kiyosaki that I can recommend (Cashflow Quadrant, Increasing your financial IQ, Why we want you to be rich, etc) I am going to recommend that you start with the basics. Simply put, the Rich Dad Poor Dad book is the reason I started my company. Please read it and you will find out why you think the way you do about money. You can thank me later. http://www.richdad.com/
