LOL! Great title for this day and age right? Well, it may be a little funny but all jokes aside there are several people out there who feel like there is no hope for their future because of life’s circumstances. If you get the chance you may want to read up on how Honda was established for more perspective on the subject of overcoming obstacles and adversities. Even if you should decide not to read up on someone like Honda, I am more than positive that you know or have heard of people with far greater adversities than you that have overcome them, and are now thriving. I love to use the example of the parent and the baby. How long would you give your baby to learn to walk before you give up? Exactly, you wouldn’t give up. Why? Because it’s just not an option. This is how your mindset has to be when approaching something like starting a new business endeavor. I started Javaboi Industries one copyright at a time, 24 t-shirts at a time, 1 Facebook post at a time, and as much knowledge at a time as I could gain for free. You have to seek out and find ways to make things work. I had to grow some a whole new set of patience that I never had before because I had no investor or extra funding outside of my employment at the time. Then as I made progress I became more confident, as I became more confident I looked for grants and found 100urbanentrepreneurs.com which gave me $10,000 and an abundance of free awesome mentoring that has helped me with regards to business infrastructure. I want you to ask yourself why you want to start a business? My reason was and still is FREEDOM & MY KIDS. What’s yours? Find a reason that will keep you going when times get tough. At this time, life has tested me more than I have ever been tested. This is why you have not seen any new products in a while, but as God is my witness I am in this for life! I have sacrificed way too much to turn around. Javaboi is my other child and he is still crawling. I am going to do whatever it takes to teach him to walk. When that day comes, I am sure Javaboi will learn to run into a full blown sprint and eventually fly out of here. This is passion, this is drive. I want you to have it, I want you to thrive!
